Magdalénka’s Story

Magdalénka

We started practicing the Vojta method with Magdalénka when she was four months old. She was born on time but was rather quiet and less active after birth. Our pediatrician noticed that Magdalénka was not lifting her head enough and had a slightly asymmetric posture. We were referred to Mgr. Krucký, who diagnosed a central coordination disorder. At first, I was scared, but he patiently explained everything and showed us the first exercises. Exercising four times a day became a steady part of our routine. There were days when it went smoothly, and days when Magdalénka cried, but we knew it was helping her.

The first big steps forward came very quickly. Magdalénka began to lift her head beautifully in the prone position, her symmetry improved, and she started to take more interest in the toys around her. Every check-up pushed us further. Gradually, she began to crawl, sit, and at one year old, she was already taking her first steps around the furniture. Today, Magdalénka is a happy and very active little girl. We are very grateful that we started exercising in time and under expert supervision. Although the exercises took a lot of our strength, they gave us back the joy of watching our daughter’s healthy development. Many thanks to Mgr. Krucký.
